Born in Kentucky with southern hospitality and family at the heart of who she is, Shelly pours herself into whatever she sets her mind to do. She is a city girl that grew up in the East Bay of San Francisco. With encouragement from her parents to develop her love for people and energy for life, she attended modeling finishing school and public speaking classes, all the while winning many awards in competition for Creative Young Authors. Coupled with her academic skills is an outgoing, honest and sincere person. She has and incredible ability to organize and motivate with her humorous energetic personality. With the loving support of her husband, Rich Reed, they relocated to Lake County seven years ago in order for them to pursue their goals. With Her strong background in Insurance and sale Shelly went on to become one of Lake Counties TOP Realtors with the cheering of Phil Smoley, broker for CPS Country Air. In 2009 she made the business decision to affiliate with Century 21 and has grown her real estate career year over year. As a full time dedicated real estate profession and VP of Recruiting for Century 21, Her love for improvement and growth is tempered with her appreciation for the small town closeness and beauty of our area. Her motto is, "Growth Is Needed, But In The Right Way!". This motivates her to support local retailers and has helped her to see the benefit and need for cooperation from all of us to put our money back into this area, which will promote positive growth. In 2021, along with her husband Rich Reed general contractor they launched Reed Homes a Home Improvement Interior design staging company. Tiring their creative nature and love for design into her bossiness, allows her to guide the homeowner through the home improvement and staging process. The design focus is always to bring the feeling of comfort peace and harmony to the buyer! Shelly feels "This is needed to make the home be seen in the way the buyer will perceive the home". While encouraging the home owner through cooperation and team effort this helps to bring about the purpose of the relationship created. |
